Cheery Designs was founded in Valencia in 2018 by a husband-and-wife team — a UI designer who had spent a decade at agencies in London, and a front-end developer who had built products at three startups. They started Cheery because they were tired of the two extremes in web design: expensive agencies that charged €50,000+ for overwrought, over-managed projects, and cheap freelancers who recycled the same WordPress templates for every client.
Cheery occupies the space in between: premium custom design at fair, transparent prices. Every website is designed from scratch. Every project gets senior talent. Every client gets direct access to the people doing the work — no account managers, no project coordinators, no unnecessary layers.
Our team has grown to eight — four designers and four developers, all based in Valencia. We are deliberately small because quality requires focus, and focus requires saying no to projects that do not fit. We take on 6-8 projects per month. If we are fully booked, we will tell you honestly and suggest an alternative.
