i worked with carolyn to build her portfolio website. we started by going through her entire body of work - sifting and sorting both printed & digital archives. i then digitized any printed archives, photographing the prints and photoshopping out magazine seams. we then built this website working off of a squarespace template by customizing it to our needs. we created custom elements: collages, block quotes, and text overlays in the adobe creative suite. together, we curated each page, telling a story through the way we sorted and the order that we placed the images in. |
